Jeremiah 26:1-10

24:26:01   In¹ the¹ beginning¹ of¹ the² reign¹ of² Jehoiakim¹ the³ son¹ of³ Josiah¹ king¹ of⁴ Judah¹ came¹ this¹ word¹ from¹ the⁴ Lord¹, saying¹,

2   Thus¹ saith¹ the⁵ Lord²; Stand¹ in² the⁶ court¹ of⁵ the⁷ Lord’s¹ house¹, and¹ speak¹ unto¹ all¹ the⁸ cities¹ of⁶ Judah², which¹ come¹ to¹ worship¹ in³ the⁹ Lord’s² house², all² the¹⁰ words¹ that¹ I¹ command¹ thee¹ to² speak² unto² them¹; diminish¹ not¹ a word²:

3   If¹ so¹ be¹ they¹ will¹ hearken¹, and² turn¹ every¹ man¹ from² his¹ evil¹ way¹, that² I² may¹ repent¹ me¹ of⁷ the¹¹ evil², which² I³ purpose¹ to³ do¹ unto³ them² because¹ of⁸ the¹² evil³ of⁹ their¹ doings¹.

4   And³ thou¹ shalt¹ say¹ unto⁴ them³, Thus² saith² the¹³ Lord³; if² ye¹ will² not² hearken² to⁴ me², to⁵ walk¹ in⁴ my¹ law¹, which³ I⁴ have¹ set¹ before¹ you¹,

24:26:05   To⁶ hearken³ to⁷ the¹⁴ words² of¹⁰ my² servants¹ the¹⁵ prophets¹, whom¹ I⁵ sent¹ unto⁵ you², both¹ rising¹ up¹ early¹, and⁴ sending¹ them⁴, but¹ ye² have² not³ hearkened¹;

6   Then¹ will³ I⁶ make¹ this² house³ like¹ Shiloh¹, and⁵ will⁴ make² this³ city¹ a curse¹ to⁸ all³ the¹⁶ nations¹ of¹¹ the¹⁷ earth¹.

7   So² the¹⁸ priests¹ and⁶ the¹⁹ prophets² and⁷ all⁴ the²⁰ people¹ heard¹ Jeremiah¹ speaking¹ these¹ words³ in⁵ the²¹ house⁴ of¹² the²² Lord⁴.

8   Now¹ it¹ came² to⁹ pass¹, when¹ Jeremiah² had¹ made¹ an¹ end¹ of¹³ speaking² all⁵ that³ the²³ Lord⁵ had² commanded¹ him¹ to¹⁰ speak³ unto⁶ all⁶ the²⁴ people², that⁴ the²⁵ priests² and⁸ the²⁶ prophets³ and⁹ all⁷ the²⁷ people³ took¹ him², saying², Thou² shalt² surely¹ die¹.

9   Why¹ hast¹ thou³ prophesied¹ in⁶ the²⁸ name¹ of¹⁴ the²⁹ Lord⁶, saying³, This⁴ house⁵ shall¹ be² like² Shiloh², and¹⁰ this⁵ city² shall² be³ desolate¹ without¹ an² inhabitant¹? And¹¹ all⁸ the³⁰ people⁴ were¹ gathered¹ against¹ Jeremiah³ in⁷ the³¹ house⁶ of¹⁵ the³² Lord⁷.

24:26:10  When² the³³ princes¹ of¹⁶ Judah³ heard² these² things¹, then² they² came³ up² from³ the³⁴ king’s¹ house⁷ unto⁷ the³⁵ house⁸ of¹⁷ the³⁶ Lord⁸, and¹² sat¹ down¹ in⁸ the³⁷ entry¹ of¹⁸ the³⁸ new¹ gate¹ of¹⁹ the³⁹ Lord’s³ house⁹.
