2   And4 thou1 shalt1 remember1 all2 the4 way1 which3 the5 Lord2 thy1 God1 led1 thee2 these1 forty1 years1 in2 the6 wilderness1, to2 humble1 thee3, and5 to3 prove1 thee4, to4 know1 what1 was1 in3 thine1 heart1, whether1 thou2 wouldest1 keep1 his1 commandments2, or1 no1.

3   And6 he1 humbled1 thee5, and7 suffered1 thee6 to5 hunger1, and8 fed1 thee7 with1 manna1, which4 thou3 knewest1 not1, neither1 did1 thy2 fathers2 know2; that2 he2 might1 make1 thee8 know3 that3 man1 doth1 not2 live2 by1 bread1 only1, but1 by2 every1 word1 that4 proceedeth1 out1 of1 the7 mouth1 of2 the8 Lord3 doth2 man2 live3.

5:08:01   All1 the1 commandments1 which1 I1 command1 thee1 this1 day1 shall1 ye1 observe1 to1 do1, that1 ye2 may1 live1, and1 multiply1, and2 go1 in1 and3 possess1 the2 land1 which2 the3 Lord1 sware1 unto1 your1 fathers1.

4   Thy3 raiment1 waxed1 not3 old1 upon1 thee9, neither2 did2 thy4 foot1 swell1, these2 forty2 years2.

5:08:05   Thou4 shalt2 also1 consider1 in4 thine2 heart2, that5, as1 a man3 chasteneth1 his2 son1, so1 the9 Lord4 thy5 God2 chasteneth2 thee10.

6   Therefore1 thou5 shalt3 keep2 the10 commandments3 of3 the11 Lord5 thy6 God3, to6 walk1 in5 his3 ways1, and9 to7 fear1 him1.

7   For1 the12 Lord6 thy7 God4 bringeth1 thee11 into1 a good1 land2, a land3 of4 brooks1 of5 water1, of6 fountains1 and10 depths1 that6 spring1 out2 of7 valleys1 and11 hills1;

8   A land4 of8 wheat1, and12 barley1, and13 vines1, and14 fig1 trees1, and15 pomegranates1; a land5 of9 oil1 olive1, and16 honey1;

9   A land6 wherein1 thou6 shalt4 eat1 bread2 without1 scarceness1, thou7 shalt5 not4 lack1 any1 thing1 in6 it1; a land7 whose1 stones1 are1 iron1, and17 out3 of10 whose2 hills2 thou8 mayest1 dig1 brass1.

5:08:10  When1 thou9 hast1 eaten1 and18 art1 full1, then1 thou10 shalt6 bless1 the13 Lord7 thy8 God5 for2 the14 good2 land8 which5 he3 hath1 given1 thee12.

13  And24 when3 thy10 herds1 and25 thy11 flocks1 multiply2, and26 thy12 silver1 and27 thy13 gold1 is1 multiplied1, and28 all3 that8 thou13 hast4 is2 multiplied2;

14  Then2 thine3 heart3 be1 lifted1 up1, and29 thou14 forget2 the16 Lord9 thy14 God7, which7 brought1 thee14 forth1 out4 of11 the17 land9 of12 Egypt1, from1 the18 house1 of13 bondage1;

5:08:15  Who1 led2 thee15 through1 that9 great1 and30 terrible1 wilderness2, wherein2 were1 fiery1 serpents1, and31 scorpions1, and32 drought1, where1 there1 was2 no2 water2; who2 brought2 thee16 forth2 water3 out5 of14 the19 rock1 of15 flint1;

16  Who3 fed2 thee17 in8 the20 wilderness3 with2 manna2, which8 thy15 fathers3 knew1 not7, that10 he4 might2 humble2 thee18, and33 that11 he5 might3 prove2 thee19, to8 do2 thee20 good3 at1 thy16 latter1 end1;

17  And34 thou15 say1 in9 thine4 heart4, My1 power1 and35 the21 might4 of16 mine1 hand1 hath2 gotten1 me1 this3 wealth1.

18  But2 thou16 shalt7 remember2 the22 Lord10 thy17 God8: for3 it2 is3 he6 that12 giveth1 thee21 power2 to9 get1 wealth2, that13 he7 may2 establish1 his7 covenant1 which9 he8 sware2 unto2  thy18 fathers4, as2 it3 is4 this4 day3.
