5:08:01   All¹ the¹ commandments¹ which¹ I¹ command¹ thee¹ this¹ day¹ shall¹ ye¹ observe¹ to¹ do¹, that¹ ye² may¹ live¹, and¹ multiply¹, and² go¹ in¹ and³ possess¹ the² land¹ which² the³ Lord¹ sware¹ unto¹ your¹ fathers¹.

2   And⁴ thou¹ shalt¹ remember¹ all² the⁴ way¹ which³ the⁵ Lord² thy¹ God¹ led¹ thee² these¹ forty¹ years¹ in² the⁶ wilderness¹, to² humble¹ thee³, and⁵ to³ prove¹ thee⁴, to⁴ know¹ what¹ was¹ in³ thine¹ heart¹, whether¹ thou² wouldest¹ keep¹ his¹ commandments², or¹ no¹.

3   And⁶ he¹ humbled¹ thee⁵, and⁷ suffered¹ thee⁶ to⁵ hunger¹, and⁸ fed¹ thee⁷ with¹ manna¹, which⁴ thou³ knewest¹ not¹, neither¹ did¹ thy² fathers² know²; that² he² might¹ make¹ thee⁸ know³ that³ man¹ doth¹ not² live² by¹ bread¹ only¹, but¹ by² every¹ word¹ that⁴ proceedeth¹ out¹ of¹ the⁷ mouth¹ of² the⁸ Lord³ doth² man² live³.

5:08:18  But² thou¹⁶ shalt⁷ remember² the²² Lord¹⁰ thy¹⁷ God⁸: for³ it² is³ he⁶ that¹² giveth¹ thee²¹ power² to⁹ get¹ wealth², that¹³ he⁷ may² establish¹ his⁷ covenant¹ which⁹ he⁸ sware² unto²  thy¹⁸ fathers⁴, as² it³ is⁴ this⁴ day³.    

19  And³⁶ it⁴ shall² be², if¹ thou¹⁷ do³ at² all⁴ forget³ the²³ Lord¹¹ thy¹⁹ God⁹, and³⁷ walk² after¹ other¹ gods¹, and³⁸ serve¹ them¹, and³⁹ worship¹ them², I³ testify¹ against¹ you¹ this⁵ day⁴ that¹⁴ ye³ shall³ surely¹ perish¹.

5:08:20  As³ the²⁴ nations¹ which¹⁰ the²⁵ Lord¹² destroyeth¹ before¹ your² face¹, so² shall⁴ ye⁴ perish²; because¹ ye⁵ would¹ not⁸ be³ obedient¹ unto³ the²⁶ voice¹ of¹⁷ the²⁷ Lord¹³ your³ God¹⁰.

4   Thy³ raiment¹ waxed¹ not³ old¹ upon¹ thee⁹, neither² did² thy⁴ foot¹ swell¹, these² forty² years².

5:08:05   Thou⁴ shalt² also¹ consider¹ in⁴ thine² heart², that⁵, as¹ a man³ chasteneth¹ his² son¹, so¹ the⁹ Lord⁴ thy⁵ God² chasteneth² thee¹⁰.

6   Therefore¹ thou⁵ shalt³ keep² the¹⁰ commandments³ of³ the¹¹ Lord⁵ thy⁶ God³, to⁶ walk¹ in⁵ his³ ways¹, and⁹ to⁷ fear¹ him¹.

7   For¹ the¹² Lord⁶ thy⁷ God⁴ bringeth¹ thee¹¹ into¹ a good¹ land², a land³ of⁴ brooks¹ of⁵ water¹, of⁶ fountains¹ and¹⁰ depths¹ that⁶ spring¹ out² of⁷ valleys¹ and¹¹ hills¹;

8   A land⁴ of⁸ wheat¹, and¹² barley¹, and¹³ vines¹, and¹⁴ fig¹ trees¹, and¹⁵ pomegranates¹; a land⁵ of⁹ oil¹ olive¹, and¹⁶ honey¹;

9   A land⁶ wherein¹ thou⁶ shalt⁴ eat¹ bread² without¹ scarceness¹, thou⁷ shalt⁵ not⁴ lack¹ any¹ thing¹ in⁶ it¹; a land⁷ whose¹ stones¹ are¹ iron¹, and¹⁷ out³ of¹⁰ whose² hills² thou⁸ mayest¹ dig¹ brass¹.

5:08:10  When¹ thou⁹ hast¹ eaten¹ and¹⁸ art¹ full¹, then¹ thou¹⁰ shalt⁶ bless¹ the¹³ Lord⁷ thy⁸ God⁵ for² the¹⁴ good² land⁸ which⁵ he³ hath¹ given¹ thee¹².

11  Beware¹ that⁷ thou¹¹ forget¹ not⁵ the¹⁵ Lord⁸ thy⁹ God⁶, in⁷ not⁶ keeping¹ his⁴ commandments⁴, and¹⁹ his⁵ judgments¹, and²⁰ his⁶ statutes¹, which⁶ I² command² thee¹³ this² day²:

12  Lest¹ when² thou¹² hast² eaten² and²¹ art² full², and²² hast³ built¹ goodly¹ houses¹, and²³ dwelt¹ therein¹;

13  And²⁴ when³ thy¹⁰ herds¹ and²⁵ thy¹¹ flocks¹ multiply², and²⁶ thy¹² silver¹ and²⁷ thy¹³ gold¹ is¹ multiplied¹, and²⁸ all³ that⁸ thou¹³ hast⁴ is² multiplied²;

14  Then² thine³ heart³ be¹ lifted¹ up¹, and²⁹ thou¹⁴ forget² the¹⁶ Lord⁹ thy¹⁴ God⁷, which⁷ brought¹ thee¹⁴ forth¹ out⁴ of¹¹ the¹⁷ land⁹ of¹² Egypt¹, from¹ the¹⁸ house¹ of¹³ bondage¹;

5:08:15  Who¹ led² thee¹⁵ through¹ that⁹ great¹ and³⁰ terrible¹ wilderness², wherein² were¹ fiery¹ serpents¹, and³¹ scorpions¹, and³² drought¹, where¹ there¹ was² no² water²; who² brought² thee¹⁶ forth² water³ out⁵ of¹⁴ the¹⁹ rock¹ of¹⁵ flint¹;

16  Who³ fed² thee¹⁷ in⁸ the²⁰ wilderness³ with² manna², which⁸ thy¹⁵ fathers³ knew¹ not⁷, that¹⁰ he⁴ might² humble² thee¹⁸, and³³ that¹¹ he⁵ might³ prove² thee¹⁹, to⁸ do² thee²⁰ good³ at¹ thy¹⁶ latter¹ end¹;

17  And³⁴ thou¹⁵ say¹ in⁹ thine⁴ heart⁴, My¹ power¹ and³⁵ the²¹ might⁴ of¹⁶ mine¹ hand¹ hath² gotten¹ me¹ this³ wealth¹.

18  But² thou¹⁶ shalt⁷ remember² the²² Lord¹⁰ thy¹⁷ God⁸: for³ it² is³ he⁶ that¹² giveth¹ thee²¹ power² to⁹ get¹ wealth², that¹³ he⁷ may² establish¹ his⁷ covenant¹ which⁹ he⁸ sware² unto²  thy¹⁸ fathers⁴, as² it³ is⁴ this⁴ day³.
