23:53:01   Who¹ hath¹ believed¹ our¹ report¹? and¹ to¹ whom¹ is¹ the¹ arm¹ of¹ the² Lord¹ revealed¹?

2   For¹ he¹ shall¹ grow¹ up¹ before¹ him¹ as¹ a tender¹ plant¹, and² as² a root¹ out¹ of² a dry¹ ground¹: he² hath² no¹ form¹ nor¹ comeliness¹; and³ when¹ we¹ shall² see¹ him², there¹ is² no² beauty¹ that¹ we² should¹ desire¹ him³. 

3   He³ is³ despised¹ and⁴ rejected¹ of³ men¹; a man¹ of⁴ sorrows¹, and⁵ acquainted¹ with¹ grief¹: and⁶ we³ hid¹ as³ it¹ were¹ our² faces¹ from¹ him⁴; he⁴ was¹ despised², and⁷ we⁴ esteemed¹ him⁵ not¹.

4   Surely¹ he⁵ hath³ borne¹ our³ griefs¹, and⁸ carried¹ our⁴ sorrows²: yet¹ we⁵ did¹ esteem¹ him⁶ stricken¹, smitten¹ of⁵ God¹, and⁹ afflicted¹.

23:53:05   But¹ he⁶ was² wounded¹ for² our⁵ transgressions¹, he⁷ was³ bruised¹ for³ our⁶ iniquities¹: the³ chastisement¹ of⁶ our⁷ peace¹ was⁴ upon¹ him⁷; and¹⁰ with² his¹ stripes¹ we⁶ are¹ healed¹.

6   All¹ we⁷ like¹ sheep¹ have¹ gone¹ astray¹; we⁸ have² turned¹ every¹ one¹ to² his² own¹ way¹; and¹¹ the⁴ Lord² hath⁴ laid¹ on¹ him⁸ the⁵ iniquity¹ of⁷ us¹ all².

7   He⁸ was⁵ oppressed¹, and¹² he⁹ was⁶ afflicted², yet² he¹⁰ opened¹ not² his³ mouth¹: he¹¹ is⁴ brought¹ as⁴ a lamb¹ to³ the⁶ slaughter¹, and¹³ as⁵ a sheep² before² her¹ shearers¹ is⁵ dumb¹, so¹ he¹² openeth¹ not³ his⁴ mouth².

8   He¹³ was⁷ taken¹ from² prison¹ and¹⁴ from³ judgment¹: and¹⁵ who² shall³ declare¹ his⁵ generation¹? for⁴ he¹⁴ was⁸ cut¹ off¹ out² of⁸ the⁷ land¹ of⁹ the⁸ living¹: for⁵ the⁹ transgression¹ of¹⁰ my¹ people¹ was⁹ he¹⁵ stricken².

9   And¹⁶ he¹⁶ made¹ his⁶ grave¹ with³ the¹⁰ wicked¹, and¹⁷ with⁴ the¹¹ rich¹ in¹ his⁷ death¹; because¹ he¹⁷ had¹ done¹ no³ violence¹, neither¹ was¹⁰ any¹ deceit¹ in² his⁸ mouth³.

23:53:10  Yet³ it² pleased¹ the¹² Lord³ to⁴ bruise¹ him⁹; he¹⁸ hath⁵ put¹ him¹⁰ to⁵ grief²: when² thou¹ shalt¹ make¹ his⁹ soul¹ an¹ offering¹ for⁶ sin¹, he¹⁹ shall⁴ see² his¹⁰ seed¹, he²⁰ shall⁵ prolong¹ his¹¹ days¹, and¹⁸ the¹³ pleasure¹ of¹¹ the¹⁴ Lord⁴ shall⁶ prosper¹ in³ his¹² hand¹.

11  He²¹ shall⁷ see³ of¹² the¹⁵ travail¹ of¹³ his¹³ soul², and¹⁹ shall⁸ be¹ satisfied¹: by¹ his¹⁴ knowledge¹ shall⁹ my² righteous¹ servant¹ justify¹ many¹; for⁷ he²² shall¹⁰ bear¹ their¹ iniquities².

12  Therefore¹ will¹ I¹ divide¹ him¹¹ a portion¹ with⁵ the¹⁶ great¹, and²⁰ he²³ shall¹¹ divide² the¹⁷ spoil¹ with⁶ the¹⁸ strong¹; because² he²⁴ hath⁶ poured¹ out³ his¹⁵ soul³ unto¹ death²: and²¹ he²⁵ was¹¹ numbered¹ with⁷ the¹⁹ transgressors¹; and²² he²⁶ bare¹ the²⁰ sin² of¹⁴ many², and²³ made² intercession¹ for⁸ the²¹ transgressors².
