Mark 1:1-10

41:01:01   The¹ beginning¹ of¹ the² gospel¹ of² Jesus¹ Christ¹, the³ Son¹ of³ God¹;

2   As¹ it¹ is¹ written¹ in¹ the⁴ prophets¹, Behold¹, I¹ send¹ my¹ messenger¹ before¹ thy¹ face¹, which¹ shall¹ prepare¹ thy² way¹ before² thee¹.

3   The⁵ voice¹ of⁴ one¹ crying¹ in² the⁶ wilderness¹, Prepare² ye¹ the⁷ way² of⁵ the⁸ Lord¹, make¹ his¹ paths¹ straight¹.

4   John¹ did¹ baptize¹ in³ the⁹ wilderness², and¹ preach¹ the¹⁰ baptism¹ of⁶ repentance¹ for¹ the¹¹ remission¹ of⁷ sins¹.

41:01:05   And² there¹ went¹ out¹ unto¹ him¹ all¹ the¹² land¹ of⁸ Judaea¹, and³ they¹ of⁹ Jerusalem¹, and⁴ were¹ all² baptized¹ of¹⁰ him² in⁴ the¹³ river¹ of¹¹ Jordan¹, confessing¹ their¹ sins².

6   And⁵ John² was¹ clothed¹ with¹ camel’s¹ hair¹, and⁶ with² a girdle¹ of¹² a skin¹ about¹ his² loins¹; and⁷ he¹ did² eat¹ locusts¹ and⁸ wild¹ honey¹;

7   And⁹ preached¹, saying¹, There² cometh¹ one² mightier¹ than¹ I² after¹ me¹, the¹⁴ latchet¹ of¹³ whose¹ shoes¹ I³ am¹ not¹ worthy¹ to¹ stoop¹ down¹ and¹⁰ unloose¹.

8   I⁴ indeed¹ have¹ baptized² you¹ with³ water¹; but¹ he² shall² baptize² you² with⁴ the¹⁵ Holy¹ Ghost¹.

9   And¹¹ it² came¹ to² pass¹ in⁵ those¹ days¹, that¹ Jesus² came² from¹ Nazareth¹ of¹⁴ Galilee¹, and¹² was² baptized³ of¹⁵ John³ in⁶ Jordan².

41:01:10  And¹³ straightway¹ coming¹ up¹ out² of¹⁶ the¹⁶ water², he³ saw¹ the¹⁷ heavens¹ opened¹, and¹⁴ the¹⁸ Spirit¹ like¹ a dove¹ descending¹ upon¹ him³:
